Filofax: it just doesn’t feel right :/

My Orange Osterley is my “go-to” planner as it reminds me of happy times. I’m even going as far to say it is lucky almost. I kid you not.

When I purchased my Osterley last year I met Luke and war pretty much in the Filofax clouds. I felt invincible and amazing: constantly. Once I moved out of the Osterley, I became sad and withdrawn.

My deco is beautiful, and I love her dearly, but Ozzie is just something else, you know?

Once I popped my inserts back into Ozzie, I kid you not, in the space of a week I received 2 messages from Luke. The first time I’ve received anything from him since he left for brighter skies of Australia the beginning of November.

Anyway… For those who don’t believe in luck or coincidence etc, I’m using my smash dividers once again (it’s only fitting as I am smashing it up in 2014). I downloaded and modified Philofaxy diary week on 2 pages CC inspired layout. Keeping with the Smashbook school theme it reminds me so much of, I amended the diary font to typewriter.

As you can see it doesn’t have any decoration or my task/to do lines at the moment. Actually I purchased some to to stamps from L2E. They’re not shipping until mid Jan so I need to get a wiggle on and draw some lines on!

I’ve done the same with my month on 2 pages (again from Philofaxy).

Apologies for the bad quality photos, it’s really early in the morning and the suns not out properly yet! I just figured I would show you how I’m going into 2014.

      The layout is actually a free download from Philofaxy: just go on to the Diary section and you’ll see a 2014 list of diary layouts: the one I downloaded was the .docx file of the CC inspired layout. You can change the font and colours etc on there. I know some people even type in (or write) inspirational quotes in the notes section.

      I usually use that area for putting anything that is occurring throughout the week: eg, if I am off work all week or on holiday somewhere but I don’t want to write it in every single day box, it goes at the top as a reminder for the entire week.

      I’ve also known people into fitness to wrote their muscle groups of the week to focus on… Or if you’re in a book group, the book you will be reading and discussing that week. The ideas as truly endless 🙂
